University of Colorado Cancer Center provides cancer-trained psychologists who work closely with the cancer care teams to help address challenges in adjusting to a cancer diagnosis.
Our psychologists use evidence based assessments and treatment approaches to customize a plan of care. Some areas that are addressed are common reactions to cancer such as depression and anxiety.
They also can focus on relational needs, coping with pain, insomnia, and a myriad of other symptoms and side effects of cancer treatment.
